    Hi Shaunt!!!!!!!
Your aunt Tamar told me about the troublesome days you were having and I was moved very deeply. She did, however, mention your unwavering courage, your cognizance of your own situation and your ability to look past it all for a promising outcome.

Even though you don’t know me, but I do rmember you when you were a lot younger. I know your parents and your mom’s family very well. My son Levon, and daughter Lara are Chamlian students going into 6th and 4th grades, respectively. In fact, Lara, my younger one is in your cousin Andrew’s class.

We fervently pray for your speedy recovery, and with God’s good graces the outcome will be a positive one for you, your mother and father, and your entire family.
We love and care for you as one of our own, and wish for you to stand your ground, be resilient and be obstinate in your desire to come out of this with flying colors.
    Cheers!!!!

    My dearest “son” Shaunt,
As you very well know you are like a family member to us and we love you as much. When we first heard of the tumor back in April I remember very clearly how hard it was for Aren to tell me the news, I could see the pain in his eyes and his demeanor. Ever since than you have been in our prayers every single second of every single day and it is with Gods divine love that today after almost three months of your parents tireless research, running around and unconditional love that we hear the best news we could have asked for. You are blessed, you will see how these days are going to shape the rest of your life and you will come out strong as ever in His glory.

I love you dghas and may God bless your family, bachigs!!!!

    Hey Shaunt,

We heard about the terrible news and were shocked. We remember all the great times we had back at Chamlian… the lunchbox fights, the pencil stabbings, the stomach kickings, giving the teachers a really really hard time, singing System songs in the hallways, water fights at snack, talking about our New England Patriots and Big Papi and the Red Sox(Daron), talking about Gibson SGs (Aram), and let’s not forget all the fun times we had in Berberian’s class. We send all our best wishes and prayers to you and your family and hope you have a speedy recovery. Hope we can jam and have another one of our infamous lunchbox fights soon.

    Love, Daron and Aram

Life and health is a prescious gift that we all cherish and you are in the hands of some special angels to take care of you. Wishing you a speedy and full recovery.

It is needless to say that the news of your illness made us terribly worried and sad, but we are CERTAIN in our hearts, that you will be able to defeat this illness and get back to your sweet and happy life.
You have an incredibly strong, sweet and loving family and they will be the power behind your fight. Be strong dear Shaunt and kick this illness out of your body.
Your mom and I had a plan to put a gate between our two neighboring walls, in order for you kids to come and go anytime you wanted. We still need to realize this dream.

    Hey Shaunt,
I was looking through some of my old pictures from Chamlian today and came across one of us in 6th grade. I remembered our “band” which we so creatively named Heavy Duty (what were we thinking?) and tried to remember the lyrics to our song “Root Beer” (again, what were we thinking??). I also reminisced about all the other fun times we had at lunch and in Sir’s class :) . You’ve been my friend since we were little and I’ll always be here for you. Please don’t hesitate to call or text me if you ever need anything or if you want to just talk or hang out. I know you will recover from this because of the strong, amazing person you are. My family and I are praying for you.

    Dear Shaunt,

When I heard of the unfortunate news about your new condition, I was shocked. I fondly remember talking and joking with you about three weeks ago at Chris’s party. I cannot imagine what kind of an incredible challenge you are going through. But, in the end, I know you are strong enough to get through this tribulation and come out of it as an even stronger person than before.
When I think of you, I always remember your jokes, fun-loving attitude, and overall happiness and joy. You have always shown kindness and care toward others and are one of the most genuine people I know. I know that you will not be broken by your disease.
The entire Azizian family is praying for your speedy recovery. We wish that you and your awesome, wonderful parents will have strength, courage, and an abundance of faith in your struggle against cancer. To me, you symbolize hope and courage, which others in similar situations to yours shoud be inspired by. You have inspired me and I know you will prevail. I along with many other of your friends at Clark hope to come see you in the near future. Please do not hesitate to call me if anything is needed.

All the Best to the entire Kuyumjian family,

you may or may not remember me but I remember you very well as the smiley face little boy. Your mom has a very special place in my heart, and I love you and your entire family, so when I heard about your tumor I sent you a blanket of prayers and positive energy :)

Shaunt hokis, I have not gone through what you are going through right now but I have had my share of illnesses and very very tough days in my life. Drawing from my experiences, I will only tell you to take one minute, one hour, one day at a time. During one of my darkest moments, a wonderful woman told me “this too shall pass, ride the wave”. So Shaunt, lots of people love you (including me) and are ready to ride this wave with you one drop at a time, draw your strength from that and trust in God!

    Love you :)

    Dear Talin, Shaunt & Family,

I missed you, Talin, at BSF today and heard about your son’s tumor. I’m so sorry to hear this. I empathize with you in your deepest heart’s anxiety as a mother. May His peace & comfort be even greater knowing that His almighty loving hand is holding Shaunt. Will pray for Shaunt, family & Drs. Let me know if I can do anything, meet & pray if you want and if you have time (you must be busy and overwhelmed).

Dear Shaunt, Talin, Vatche, and Isabelle,

I just heard the news and my best wishes go out to all of you. Like Brian said it seems like yesterday that I started working for your Mom so that she could take time off of work to have and take care of you while you were just born. I know you don’t remember me but I know your parents very well and while it has been a while since seeing any of you I know the character of your family. I have no doubts that you will recover and remember that we are all on your side. Stay strong and know that you will ultimately be back to perfect very soon. Much love Kouyoumdjian’s and as cliche’ as this may sound, please reach out to me if I can do anything for you.

    Dear Shaunt,
I know you don’t remember me but I worked with both of your parents at Priority. I know you will come out of this just fine and will probably make those around you even better people for it. You parents have always been so incredibly loving and supportive and I can only imagine how wonderful the rest of your family and friends are. Just stay strong and positive but most of all, live each day to its fullest. You will be in my thoughts.

    Hello Shaunt
I am an old friend of your mom’s. I was the rap buyer for The Wherehouse when your mom was at Priority. I always heard a lot about you from your mom. I am very sad to hear about your tumor but at the same time I know that you can & will beat this. You are YOUNG, STRONG, SMART and BLESSED to have so many people sending you positive energy and a lot of prayers. Although I do not know you I am putting you at the TOP of my prayers. I fully believe in prayer because it has done so much for me & my family, in my own life. I take time several times a day to give thanks & pray for those that need it. You have many, many people praying for you & I will also tell others to send positve thoughts and prayers your way. Stay Strong & Positive and I am sure you will be back to your old self real soon. I look forward to meeting you when this is behind you. Your mom knows I can get tickets to concerts, so perhaps you will want to see something in the near future…..MUCH LOVE TO YOU & YOUR FAMILY…Violet Brown

    Shaunt,

I can remember when Talin was pregnant with you like it was yesterday. Your mom and dad were so excited to have their first child. I was working for your mom at the time and I felt included in your family as though I, too, was getting a new baby brother. Although I have not seen you in a number of years, I always have felt a deep connection to you and your entire family. So as part of your “extended” family, I feel your current pain and struggle and at the same time I share with you my strength, health, and prayer for a speedy recovery. You obviously have a legion of supporters who want this as well. I hope that you and your family feel all of this love and support. Of course, if there is anything that I can do to help, please let me know. My love goes out to you, Isabelle, Talin, and Vatche.

    Love,

    Jennifer and Brian Shafton

    Shaunt:

There’s a cliché “God doesn’t give us anything we can’t handle.”

The fact is, God does not “give us” tumors or any other ailment. These are all a part of life. We can’t explain everything. Some things are what they are. But a very wise man said “Life is 5% what happens to you, and 95% how you respond.”

Shaunt, what you can control is 95%! Live life to the fullest and nurture your faith in God. With Him, everything and anything is possible. He will see you through this!

Your parents will spare no love, patience, resources, compassion, empathy, or anything else you need to beat the crap out of this golf ball and drive it to where it will never return. All of us, your family & friends, are here to see you through this and make it as seamless as possible.

Like the Ferrari you will soon take for a ride, a car does not have feelings, but the driver gives the car its spirit. Much the same way, you must steer your feelings so that your spirit is running wild, free, and full of vitality. That is the 95% that will guide you through this and get you to the finish line victorious. Run like the pony my friend!

You’re always there to make everyone happy and lighten up the mood so now it’s our turn to do the same for you. You’re in our prayers and we can’t wait to see you all recovered and back to the same ol’ you! I’m always here for you so don’t hesitate to call or come over or anything at all. Hope to see you soon, we’ll do another movie night :) I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! stay strong, we’re right beside you!

So, Shaunt, you would be forgiven if you don’t remember us (your Mom and Dad will tell you, and maybe have the photographs) but we remember you. And, sheesh, the lengths you teenagers will go to just to avoid a pop quiz. Shaunt! :]
You can’t imagine how much I cried the moment my mom told me about what had happened. I guess it’s because you’ve been such a wonderful person and a great friend. Just wanted to let you know that anytime you’re bored and you need someone to talk to, or someone you can jam with, just say the word and i’ll be there. :] I’m always here for you! And i always will be. You’re such a strong person for being able to get through this calmly. I definitely look up to you for that. So thanks for showing me that the silly little things in life don’t really matter. Stay strong Shaunt! And always remember, with your great character and amazing personality, you can conquer the world. ;]
    Good luck and much love!

    Hi Shaunt:

You’ve probably been through the most difficult time of your life this past
week and no 16 year old should have to think about let alone deal with what
    you are going through.

Having said that, know that you are blessed with the most wonderful family
and a good group of friends who will stand by you until you get through
this. And let me assure you that you will get through this. I know your mom
and dad will spare no effort to make sure you get the best care possible. As
you know, the best doctors in the field are already involved with your care
and will make sure you will be okay.

In the few years I’ve known you, I’ve been impressed with your maturity and
strength of character. Those qualities will be very helpful in your journey
the next days and weeks. And you know that Alec is also a great admirer of
yours and looks up to you as a big brother!

Let’s all get together and watch the F1 grand prix this coming weekend!

Dear Shaunt: You gave me some serious heart burn and anxiety for few days last week after your dad told us about your illness. We were all praying for “IT” to be a none life threatening situation which our prayers were answered.
Know that you have some amazing parents that will do anything to get you the best care through this challenge that showed up in your life.

Its only a challenge to test your mental, physical, and emotional well being.

I know this first hand! When I was 10 or 11, I fell and hit my jaw HARD against our stone sink 10 feet from ground and smashed my jaw and all my teeth. We were told that my jaw can not be repaired fully and that the nerves were torn and I will never be able to talk or eat normal!!

As you know I seak fine and eat normal! It took me two years of hard work that amazed my doctors! There were many days that I did not want to bare the pain, but my parents did not give up more importently I DID NOT GIVE UP!

We all know that you will be 100% fine but you have to beleive that you will make it gloriously.
Keep your head up, go about your business and don’t let the voices in your head have a conference up there. Another words, don’t listen to your head! Come from LOVE AND “ALL IS WELL”

My grandfather use to tell me its all written on your forehead what will happen to you as long as you are true to yourself and have passion, dreams, and aspiration to go on.

    I’m here for you
Aunty Laura is here for you
    Melene is here for you
Markar is here for you and we love you very much!!!!!!

    We only accept 100% recovery.

My very dear friends Vatche and Talin:

I have no doubt that in couple of months we all will be sitting and celebrating Shaunt’s full recovery and well being. Shaunt will be 100% OK and will be back to his normal life. More importantly, this experience will strengthen Shaunt physically, intellectually and spiritually. Mark my words, we all will watch Shaunt grew up as a fine and intelligent young man who will impact the lives of millions of children. God provides such opportunities and experience to only those who He trusts and believes in their ability to change the world in order to make it a better place to live.

We love you all and please give Shaunt and Isabelle a big hug.
